Private river access is a 5 minute walk from Cedar House.  This quaint river cabin is secluded and has all the amenities you need for a Frio River getaway.  The cabin sleeps up to 7 in beds – 2 downstairs and 5 in the loft.  The outdoor BBQ and picnic table are a great extension to dining at Cedar House.

This cabin is a great place for wildlife and bird watching. Conveniently located near the heart of Concan and private river access is such a plus!

    From the Houston area:
        Take I-10 West towards San Antonio. In San Antonio as you travel west on I-10 stay to the left to remain on US Hwy 90 West...
    From the Dallas - Ft. Worth area:
        Take I-35 South to Austin
    From the Austin area
        Take US 290 West to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg take Hwy 16 South towards Kerrville. At I-10 turn right and go West on I-10 West to
        Hwy 41. Take Hwy 41 West to US Hwy 83. Take US Hwy 83 South to Leakey.
    From Corpus...
        Take I-37 N towards San Antonio. At San Antonio take exit 139 to merge onto I-10 W/US-87 N/US-90 W toward El Paso. Stay in the left lane
        to remain on US Hwy 90 west to Sabinal.
    From San Antonio
        Take US Hwy 90 West to Sabinal.
    From Sabinal
        At the traffic signal in Sabinal turn right on Hwy 127. Stay left on 127 as you leave Sabinal, taking 127 to Concan.
    From El Paso
        Take I-10 E towards San Antonio. Go past Junction and take Hwy 83 S. to Leakey.
    From Leakey
         Go South through Leakey and continue to Concan 17 miles at the intersection of Hwy 83 and Hwy 127. Turn right on drive way that goes to top of Sunflower Cabin.  Go beyond Sunflower’s parking area approximately 50 feet to Cedar House.  Parking is on the left hand side of the lane.

Final directions upon reaching Concan.
Turn right on CR 348 at Andy’s on River Road.  Frio River Vacation Rentals office will be on your left, just after the first curve to the right.  Turn right at the next road – CR 392.  Sunflower is approximately 200 yards on the right hand side of the lane.
